Another attempt

Another adventure–
burning blue bonfires,
hot cocoa in cold cups,
dancing and daydreaming.
Easy evenings spent
fluttering, like smoke rings,
galloping through gripping
half hallucinations
in the ink-like darkness.
Jam toast, orange gerberas
kept in crystal vases,
lamp light, yellow and warm–
myriad melange
(never unexciting)
of what I’m grateful for.
Pastel and polaroid
to create and capture
restful retrospection
save me a slice of
tomorrow ‘s tiny tales.
Urban urgencies shan’ t
vanish volatile dreams
we wordlessly worked on.
Extend a hand, let us
not let the whys and whens
zip our dreams forever.
